When grilling chicken, I like to surprise my guests with a mixture of flavors that is sure to make them ask, "What's in it?"

Growing up in a Greek family in the produce business, Josh came to cooking naturally. With over a decade in the produce business, from family to his own before running Artizone Chicago, he has developed more than a few recipes. Born and raised on the south side, and currently residing in Lakeview, his food is focused on flavor from in season ingredients that play nicely together.
INGREDIENTS - 4 servings
3 Tablespoons Cayenne pepper
5 Tablespoons Black Pepper
2 Tablespoons Garlic Powder
3 Tablespoons Cumin
Teaspoons Dried Oregano
Teaspoons Dried Thyme
4 Pieces Chicken Breast(s)
Cup Olive Oil
Prepare the rub -
Put all the spices into a mixing bowl. Mix with a wooden spoon until well blended.
Rub the Chicken-Breasts -
Cut each breast to 2 pieces. Place the pieces with the rub into a sealed plastic-bag and cover the pieces with the rub.
Cooking Time -
Heat a skillet with olive-oil to cover the bottom, and sear the breasts ~2 minutes on each side.
When done, place all pieces in the oven for additional 10 minutes.
