A simple recipe your kids will love by simply smashing fresh berries with sweet and creamy Italian mascarpone cheese.

INGREDIENTS - 8 servings
10 Oz Strawberries fresh or frozen
1 Cup Marscapone cheese
2 Tablespoon Sugar powdered
Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
In a mixing bowl, take the strawberries with 2 tablespoons of sugar and vanilla extract, and let sit for about 10 minutes. smash gently with the back of your fork or potato masher. You want to smash the berries, but still keeping some pieces in tack and letting out some juices.
Gently stir in the mascarpone cheese and incorporate with smashed berries.
You can substitute American-style cream cheese, if mascarpone is unavailable. Just add 1 more tablespoon of powdered sugar.
